Verify a member's Epic Games account inside a ticket with the Epic Games Authentication step.

Epic Games Authentication Step

The Epic Games Authentication step verifies a member's Epic account and stores the Epic display name together with the account ID.

This step type is a premium feature. The Epic Games application is provided by TicketWave.

Who Should Use This

The step shows a Login button with the Epic Games logo.

The official Epic Games sign-in page opens and asks to share the basic profile (basic_profile scope) with TicketWave.

Epic sends the member back and TicketWave resolves the display name for the account.

The confirmation page appears and the ticket continues.

Epic Games Success

basic_profile is Epic's read-only identity scope. TicketWave gets no friends list, no purchase history and no game data.

Server dashboard → Settings → Ticket Steps → Configure.

Tournament sign-ups need the Epic account, a bug report about your website does not. Use Limit to Category.

Open a ticket and run through the sign-in once.
