Vote Coins & Streaks
Every vote pays you in Vote Coins and keeps your streak alive. This page explains exactly how both numbers are calculated.
Vote Coins
Vote Coins are your personal currency. They belong to you, not to a server, and they stay in your account until you spend them in the Vote Store.
How Many Coins Per Vote?
Every vote credits a random amount between 100 and 120 Vote Coins. The exact number is rolled per vote — that is why the announcement embed always shows what you actually earned.

TicketWave tracks two values:

| Total | Everything you ever earned — this never goes down |
Your total is your lifetime score. Spending coins only lowers the current balance.
Coin Boost
The Vote Store sells a ⚡ Coin Boost. While it is active, every vote pays a multiplied amount.

Voting Streaks
Your streak counts how many days in a row you voted.
The Rules
One vote per day is enough. Voting five times on the same day counts as one day for the streak — extra votes still pay coins.
Vote the next day to continue. Every consecutive day increases the streak by one.
Miss a day and it resets. Your streak starts again at 1 with your next vote.
Today or yesterday keeps it alive. As long as your last vote was today or yesterday, your streak is still shown as active.
Days are counted in UTC. If you vote late at night in your local time zone, the vote may already belong to the next UTC day — which is good for your streak, never bad.
Current vs. Best Streak
/user vote and your website profile both show two numbers:
- Current Streak — the run you are on right now
- Best Streak — the longest run you ever had, kept forever
Streak Shields
Life happens. A 🛡️ Streak Shield protects your streak when you miss exactly one day.
How They Work
You buy a shield in the Vote Store.
It sits unused in your account until it is needed.
If there is a one day gap in your voting history, TicketWave automatically spends one shield to bridge that day.
Your streak continues as if you had voted.
A shield covers one missing day. A gap of two or more days cannot be bridged — the streak resets.
Shield Limits
You can hold a maximum of 3 unused shields at a time. If you already own 3, the store blocks the purchase with:

Your Vote Counters
Besides coins and streaks, TicketWave tracks three vote numbers:

| Current Votes | Votes that have not expired yet (usually within the last 12 hours) |
| Votes This Month | Every vote in the current calendar month |
| Total Votes | Every vote you ever made |
Your current votes are what gives you the temporary role on our support Discord — once none of your votes are active any more, the role is removed automatically.
