Let's setup TicketWave in under 5 minutes. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to get use the bare default of TicketWave.

Walkthrough

Invite the Bot

Click here to invite the bot and select the server you want to add TicketWave to.
⚠️ Make sure you have Manage Server permission in that server.

TicketWave requires certain permissions to function correctly, including Manage Channels, Manage Roles, and Send Messages. Grant all requested permissions when adding the bot.

Run Setup

In your Discord server, run the /setup command to start the initial configuration:

  1. Choose the ticket discord category
  2. Select the staff role(s) that will manage tickets

You can choose multiple roles, but at least one is required to ensure your staff can access and manage tickets.

  1. Configure the right permissions for the ticket category.

Press on the button "Validate" to check the permissions. if the bot detects any missing permissions, it will provide instructions on how to fix them and which is missing.

  1. Last but not least, choose your channel to send the ticket panel to.

You have successfully set up TicketWave in your server. You can now start receiving tickets from your community and manage them efficiently.
